Gerald has held various senior positions in capital markets and derivatives trading and structuring at Merrill Lynch and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He later served as Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at a major bank. As a founding partner of Altpoint Capital, a multi-billion dollar private equity fund, he emphasized innovative ideas, data analysis, and precise execution.

He studied Japanese and Economics in Tokyo before completing his graduate studies at London Business School. He also holds a Master’s degree in the Philosophy of Physics from Columbia University.

Outside of work, Gerald is an experienced aviator and enjoys jazz music. In his free time, he can often be found exploring the vibrant streets of Tokyo.
