Simon has over two decades of experience in financial services, spanning trading, risk management and senior leadership roles across global markets. Before joining GBM Securities, he served as Group Chief Risk Officer at CMC Markets, where he led enterprise risk strategy, chaired the Executive Risk Committee, and steered the firm through major regulatory and operating model transformations. His earlier career included ETF trading and index risk management at UBS.
He holds a degree in Physics from the University of Leeds.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys music and time with his family, and is always looking for new travel destinations and enjoys discovering local coffee spots wherever he goes.
